Picture this...: The Blog Blues: I have the “Blog Blues”. I could tell myself all the reasons why it is everyone else’s fault, but clearly it is me. I have the issues. I h...

  1. Great post. You're a very good writer. If you have a passion to write, get out of your own way - write! Passion is God's way of telling us His will. Doubt is the ego's way of keeping us focused on what we DON'T want for ourselves. From there we all have the choice which path to follow. Many people get so caught up in ego based activity they lose track of their passions, never follow their dreams. Be quiet, get in touch with your soul's yearning... from there it's just a matter of believing in yourself.

From my viewpoint, the NEO song section of your blog plays out like this: The songwriter is trying to shed their light into the darkness of their partner. The best way to get rid of darkness? Turn on a light. You can't fight darkness with darkness, that makes everything worse. It's actually not a struggle at all, darkness will go away as soon as it encounters light. Once the partner grasps this, starts to love themselves, why would they tell NEO they don't need him? The partner would then duplicate NEO and go forth spreading their own light, helping others the way they were helped. This is how the world is changed one soul at a time. The more light there is, the less darkness will befall all of us. We'll see what we believe, not only as individuals but as a society.

    1. Dave,
I don't know what to say. I had to read your reply several times. Brilliant take on the song and your explanation of light. Something I never considered. Love that you added that whole aspect of light being spread.
I was told very recently, that I should get with a bunch of kids and do some "shadow play". You can make things as big or as little as you want them to be based on the light. Isn't that the truth?!
Thanks for taking the time to read, Dave, and I am going to sincerely thank you for the compliment. Coming from you, after reading only a small portion of what you have written, I am flattered and honored by the compliment.

    2. Dave,

Just reading this again and I do have a passion for writing and want to write more, but I have no idea how to get into my blogspot account anymore...it's been that long! How do you access yours? (And yes, I tried reading the "Help" tab, but that didn't help!
